Hi, As everyone knows AL KO went out of business 2015 and basic replacement parts are near non existent.
My 2013 Cougar came with AL KO 4400lb axles. Last fall one of the small coil springs that hold the brake shoes to the backing plate broke allowing the shoe to contact the drum thus ruining it.
I replaced the axles with Lippert units so, these are free to good home. The good:3 of the 4 drums, 3 of the 4 shoe pairs were fine when checked last year, all bearings should still be fine as they were re packed 2yrs ago. The bad: All 4 magnets are open, not sure why.
I have new, never installed replacement magnets I bought from Etrailer for 160. I will sell these for 100 if you take the axles. You don't have to buy them if you just want the axles.
